This is your chance to come and experience the many and varied trails in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) led by experienced ultrarunner and fully qualified run leader and coach Ry Webb.

Price: £295 per person (discounts available for existing Dirty Runners coachees)

Dates/Duration: Dates TBC. Usually Friday - Sunday.

Location: Cottage in the Woods, off Ranmore Common, Dorking, Surrey Hills

Group size: Max 12 runners + 2 run leaders

Running ability: This weekend is aimed at existing runners who wish to develop their trail running.  Whether you are relatively new to the trails or coming with experience, we want to help you build your confidence and skills over this type of terrain.  There will be guided runs and skills sessions lasting between 1-4 hours. All of which are optional.  One run will be an easy evening head torch run on Friday; if you haven’t run much in the dark this is a great intro and there will be the option to try out an Exposure Lights head torch. All runs are led at a social pace; you should be able to already run for 2 hours at an average pace of 10min/miles (6min/kms). There will be plenty of points along the way to regroup while on the trails and there will be a back runner who also knows the route.  This is not about fast running but about enjoying being out in the trails and honing your skills as well as getting to know each other over the weekend.

Accommodation: Exclusive use of an eco-friendly YHA classic country cottage hostel tucked away off the beaten track right on the trails in the Surrey Hills. Sleeping is in bunks in shared rooms with sinks.  Toilets and hot showers located in a separate building just outside the main cottage.  Lounge with indoor open fire.  Outdoor fire pit for toasting marshmallows!

Meals: We love food and understand the importance of good fuelling for running. Meals will be home made and we aim to cater for dietary needs - please contact us to discuss. Home baked snacks will also be provided.
